The Bristol School of Dancing has a strict uniform and hair code of practice. Uniform should not be purchased either online or from supermarkets, as these are not the regulation uniform. Girls must have their hair in a bun, but for modern the head must be able to lie flat on the floor, so two french plaits would be more suitable. Pre-Primary to Grade 3 – Girls
Tap uniform is under review – check with main office before purchasing, black socks, black Bloch ‘Audeo’ Tap shoes – from Grade 1 these should be fitted with Teletone Taps.
Pre-Primary through to Advanced 2 – Boys
Regulation white sleeveless vest, black jazz trousers, black socks, black Bloch ‘Audeo’ Tap shoes with Teletone Taps.
Grade 4 to Grade 5 – Girls
Uniform is under review – check with main office before purchasing, black convertible tights, black Bloch ‘Audeo’ Tap shoes.
