The Bristol School of Dancing has a strict uniform and hair code of practice. Uniform should not be purchased either online or from supermarkets, as these are not the regulation uniform. Girls must have their hair in a bun, but for modern the head must be able to lie flat on the floor, so two french plaits would be more suitable. Leotard and tights under review – check with main office before purchase. Usually bare feet but during COVID restrictions wear ballet shoes/flesh coloured jazz shoes.
Regulation white sleeveless vest Black regulation jazz trousers. Usually bare feet but black coloured ballet shoes during COVID restrictions.
Leotard under review – check with main office before purchasing. Black convertible tights – and black Blochsox (Bloch dance socks) until further notice.
