Vocational Training | From Age 12+ | RAD exams
Following completion of the graded examinations, students will begin their Vocational training. These classes may be attended purely for recreational purposes but they are mainly aimed towards students considering Vocational training when they have finished their A Levels. The work will now be extremely demanding and requires complete dedication from the student. At least two ballet classes per week should be the aim and indeed if possible, at least two more of a higher grade. These should also be combined with Modern and Body Conditioning classes to ensure that the strength and stamina required for examinations at this level are safely achievable. Pointe work plays an important role and student should have at least two pairs of pointe shoes “on the go”.
